Meet James Howard
James E. Howard is a Beavercreek, Ohio native, and is 18 years old. An only child, his family has roots in the region for generations, and this breeds in him a deep desire to help the people of Clark, Greene, and Madison Counties. He is an eleven year member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fairborn, graduated in 2007 from Beavercreek High School, and currently attends Wittenberg University in Springfield as a political science major. Outside of school, at church he works actively with the Alley Youth Group.
Outside of his political ambitions, he played on the Beavercreek tennis team for four years - a tradition he continues now at Wittenberg. He enjoys going to the gun range, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
He is running for State Senate because he feels a special bond to the people. "I feel there are issues that my opponents are not emphasizing, and while my opponents look out for money and their personal interests, I look out for the people," he says.
