Faith's Role In Government
*Values are the cornerstone of America, yet in today's society it is easy to see that cornerstone starting to disintegrate. We need to stand up unconditionally for our moral imperatives and restore the tradition that our Founding Fathers built us upon.
*Building strong moral values begins in childhood. I will encourage the expansion of faith-based initiatives such as churches hosting optional after-school programs.
*The moral compass continues to act through adulthood. Low-income families' food pantry and shelter options should be expanded through the guiding hand of institutions of faith.
*Churches also have the unique capability to aid those searching for employment, or those in financial crisis. I will encourage them to increase in these capabilities. With the backbone of faith, people can make it through any hardship.
