Conservative Means Conservation
*Preserving our environment has been a conservative principle since the days of President Teddy Roosevelt, who created the National Park Service. Returning to these roots is an American tradition - one that is becoming of increased prominence in the 21st century.
*As your senator I will propose an incentive tax break to people who take the time to recycle. Simply setting aside paper or plastic products each week could potentially earn a family hundreds of dollars in the long run.
*We have some very ecologically diverse lands in Ohio, especially even in this district. National treasures like the John Bryan State Park deserve to be promoted throughout the state and nation. This would increase tourism into Ohio, spur economic growth and development, and even encourage people to move to or stay in our state.
